The police are working to ensure peace and safety during the Christmas and New Year celebrations. They are currently conducting a verification campaign at the Hewal Ghati camps. During this time, camp operators are also increasing staff at their establishments.
There have been several disputes between tourists and staff at camps and resorts lately. To address this, the police have launched a verification campaign. Over 100 people have been verified so far, and the checks will continue in areas like Phool Chatti, Rattapani, Ghattu Gad, Mohan Chatti, Bairagarh, Sindhudi, Bijni, Kumartha, Naal, Khairkhal, Peepalkoti, Neelkanth, and others. Ravi Saini, the Inspector in charge of Laxmanjhula police station, stated that the police are doing everything they can to ensure law and order during the Christmas and New Year celebrations.
